1. Received a concrete job offer in Norway, paid the application fee, waiting 6 months and was denied a work permit from the lovely Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI).

2. I am now married to a Norwegian citizen and applied for a family reunification visa over 6 months ago. I was denied and now I am in the appeal process.

Today I decided to call my friends over at UDI. The informed me my appeal is still in queue and waiting to be assigned to a case worker. They also told me to wait the expected case processing time which is 6 months and that my appeal was registered in their system 3 and a half months ago.

SIX months to give me a yes/no answer?
