An Agency is Born – Meet The Look and Feel

It’s been some time since I sat down to blog on my site and I’d like to take a few minutes tonight to update you all on my latest adventure(s).

A few months back I wrote about leaving Human Made. Instead of going somewhere else I decided to quickly start my own company and try starting something on my own.

I quickly turned to my good friend and amazing illustrator, Frode Skaren (aka uglyo), to start something new and I’d like you to meet The Look and Feel.

The Look and Feel is something that’s already very close to me. Skaren and I are in both two totally different realms when it comes to actual work and experience but we didn’t want that to stop us from starting something unique. To us, it didn’t matter that I would do WordPress / development work under the TLAF brand and he could do design. To make things even weirder from a business perspective, we took it one step further and brought on our good friend Frode Jerdal. Jerdal is an amazing architect while he also lives in another spectrum of work it makes what we do even more special.

Since our inception we’ve brought on some amazing people to the team, specifically under the Technology branch. Meet Coen Jacobs, Robert Ward and Gareth Welton!

The Look and Feel is title “A Creative Agency”. This probably sound cliché to most but it’s exactly what we are. This is true to our core and we want to continue to be as creative as possible in every aspect of what happens under the TLAF umbrella of experience. Whether that’s the quality of code under technology, the concept & delivery stages of Jerdal’s craftsmanship with architecture, or the amazing eye and attention to detail with Skaren’s design work we want to be creative in new ways and most of all have fun.

While we may look like three separate companies, TLAF is indeed one unit flying the same flag. We’ll continue to grow within these three verticals and I can’t wait to see more “odd fits” get thrown into the mix.

I hope to continue updating you all with TLAF news and make sure to check out our site for continued news with what we’re doing.

Ciao,

Scott
