I think I’ve finally recovered from over 48 overs of not sleeping and non-stop WordPress knowledge.

I want to thank my team at WooThemes for their support, Brad Williams, Christopher Cochran, all the speakers, everyone else who helped out and all the viewers again for making WordSesh such a successful event.

When I initially had the idea for WordSesh I had two goals in mind.

Reach as many people as possible. Teach everyone something about WordPress!
Not only reach a lot of people, but try to include areas other than the USA and Europe.

and WordSesh did just that.

Here’s some awesome facts about the event from Google Analytics, Youtube and Jetpack stats.

In the 24 hours, from start to finish, WordSesh had:

2,600 unique visitors
80 different countries
200 average viewers tuning in at any given time

I really look forward to organizing WordSesh 2 and making it an even better event for the community.

Office Slash Guest Room Updates

Finally Finished Paneling the whole room.

Starting to prime the walls.

Walls all primed and ready for first coat of paint.

We decided to paint the walls an antique white.

Put the new hardwood flooring down with the help of my father in law.

Renate did such a good job staining the floors.

Awesome light we have hanging in the middle of the room.

Next Up: Office / Guest Room

Last summer we re-did the living room and dining room.

We tore down all the old walls, ripped up the carpet and put up wood paneling, sanded/painted the floors, etc.

With a baby on the way we’ll need to move the guest room downstairs. We’ll be turning the old room down there (which had pink walls a vinyl flooring) into the office/guest room.

Here’s what I’ve gotten done so far:

What’s left:

- Paint

- Trim and Base

- Hard Wood Flooring and Staining

Our living room/dining room is actually getting there! It’s been great to have help from everyone. My dad has been here (seen in the image below) helping put up the floor base and paint the floors.
